This is one of the top producers on the spring creeks of Wisconsin and beyond and a fine rendition of John Bethke's classic SW Wisconsin trout nymph.
Though we imagine it was originally designed as a mayfly or caddis nymph, many people think it resembles a scud, an egg or other fish food.
